Its a nice upgrade but i think $600 can be spent more effectively elsewhere. Someone on another forum had this to say;

Peak to Peak, you probably won't see more than a 8-10rwhp difference, but the Bullitt intake's performance throughout the curve makes it a much better performing intake. If you have to have peak HP gains to satisfy you, it may not be worth it, but if you want gains throughout the range, then it's worth looking into.

On the dyno, my car made the same peak HP as a guy with the same mods with a PI intake with plenum and throttle body, but mine was higher throughout the entire curve, except for peak, where they were equal. When he drove my car, he actually commented that it felt stronger throughout. I was also .3 faster at the track, how much of that was driving is subjective though.

It may be a noticable difference, but if you did gears in your car it would wake the car up much more. I suggest doing that next

600 bucks is a lot for 8 HP IMHO.
For that money you could pick up a used P-51.

Has anyone done the swap? Starting it today after work and was wondering if there was anything I need besides the manifold itself?

Your going to need a Bullitt specific alternator. Your Gt one will not work. also the bracket on the alternator. Throttle cables,etc.
