I was shocked to see that as well. Its just unacceptable. I mean WTF did I even pay for? I would have been better off with no chip and setting my timing and fuel PSI.

I had always heard iffy things about Performance dyno, never believed it. Even after my friends 03 Cobra melted a piston that was tuned there I just figured it was bad luck. I have no doubt in my mind now that Mikes tune was screwed up as well. I mean if a custom tune on an NA set up is this bad Id hate to see how butchered a boosted tune would look like.

I'm planning on meeting up with Keith on the 5th at NED so he can adjust the tune further and and I really cant wait to get back to Granite State Dyno to see what it spits out for a number with all of these changes.

I am curious to see how many PMs you get from people who tell you they had a bad tue from there..People came out of the wood work after my car blew up...I even had people that swore by him tell me they wouldn't get tuned by him...He also ran around telling people I was doing an all out pass down the highway and blah blah blah...Not trying to start shit....Just figure if people stumble on this thread for Performance they will read more then one story...

Strange thing is your story is the first thing that popped into my head when all this came to light. I had always "heard" things as well and I know there was a lot of controversy w/ what happened w/ your engine. I had no doubt he fucked it up though. Just look at what I have in plain black in white proof that my tune was a result of only a few possible outcomes.

1. Laziness

2. Incompetence

3. Lack of Knowledge

As I stated my friend mike had his 03 Cobra tuned there to. KB blower, exhuast exc exc.. put down 617. He sold it and shortly after the sale the #6 piston melted down. No way to know for sure of what the cause was now but Id be very skeptical of the tune in his case as well. If anyone has had a tune done there even if your happy with how the car runs how safe is your tune really? How much power are you leaving on the table?. Strangely I have not yet had any PM's but that could change.
