So apparently 80% in 2011 is 100 hp less then 80% in 2012.

Thanks guys. I'll give them a call tomorrow and see what I can do with this info.

Hopefully they man up and help you out...otherwise you should hang them out to dry...that is some pretty deceptive business practices...

Write out a well thought out email showing the all of the proof you have and tell them what you expect from them in return, it has worked for me in the past. Then if they ignore you call and bitch them out

I think I'm going to pull the clutch and make sure there is no installer error before I really push the issue. Would suck to be a Dick and then pull it apart to find oil leaking on the.clutch or something.

With the way my luck is..lol

I really don't think there is . I don't see how anything would cause it to not hold in higher gears but hold lower gears. I would think oil on the clutch would cause slipping in any gear. Only thing I could think is the pressure plate maybe coming loose.

If something was coming loose I would think you'd be getting a ton of noise and chatter not just slippage. Could be the way your car makes power accounting for it only slipping in certain gears, maybe the tq hits it harder who knows

Only way to know for sure would be to disassemble and inspect it. That said I would still have a bad taste in my mouth after seeing how they reacted already, claiming they changed ratings and your clutch just happened to not make the cut off, and then having pretty solid proof they lied. If i had to guess your install is just fine, their product is just not holding up like they said it would, who knows they may have already had claims from people and that is why they changed their ratings hoping to pull a fast one on people.

My RS had been overfilled with oil before I bought it...the clutch was soaked in oil....It would hold until you got into it in 4th or 5th and then it would slip...other then that it held fine....

Hey guys, been super busy with my new job. I work in Newberryport Mass now making glue at an adhesive company. 50 mile drive each way but I'm much happier.

On my way home Friday my brakes started grinding real bad. Looks like I need to do all 4 brakes and rotors. It's the front that is grinding but looking at the rear it appears that the previous owner replaced one of them at some point. One side is warn almost twice as much as the other. -_-

Hoping to order parts this week and install next weekend. Subaru has a notoriously weak firewall and it flexes under braking so I'd like to get a master cylinder brace too. It's supposed to eliminate the movement in the fire wall. Maybe some steel breaded lines as well but not sure if I have the money for all that. So we will see.
